Scholarships

Friends of Richard and the Fee family established a scholarship in his memory at Greensboro College in 2011. Greensboro College was important and very influential in Richard’s life. Richard graduated from Greensboro in 2008 and loved the school the friends he made there and fell in love with the city.

Through the fundraising efforts and dedication of the Mock, Cruit and Shanley families – plus a host of others – the Richard Scott Fee Endowment Scholarship was created.

To date the combined efforts has raised close to $100,000.

In 2016, The Foundation launched a scholarship for a graduating senior at First Colonial High School, the high school where Richard graduated in 2004.

It will be the continued work of The Richard Scott Fee Foundation to raise money to grow and fund these to scholarships in the future.
